harry h Posted June 15, 2016 Report Posted June 15, 2016 It's one of the things that I missed the most when I first moved to Aberdeenshire,but it wasn't long before I built a loft in the back garden and started to breedpouters, trained the young one's on what they should be doing and used to take themdown to a few of my mates in Rutherglen and the rest went to the Parkhead Doo shopon the Sunday night for sale, miss all the great times and great fights.

Used to get £4 & £5 for cock doo and a good hen could get you £10 . Always enjoyed watching the buyers first to get their hand up or turn of a card .
