Just to let anyone know the pigeon who is 13 years old and named the Eric Fox cock was bred at Eric's loft from two birds which I had bred and raced. The sire being half Eric's bird crossed with a pigeon called Eggbert who I got as an egg from the lofts of W Goddard and Son of Bradford who were awesome fanciers in the 1980's upto 725 miles.

The dam of the Eric cock was bred by me and rung with one of 9 rings which were the same as my works number. ie 4279. She was bred from an eric Fox bird that I raced as a yearling up to 660 miles and he won the following year in a smash race at 660 miles. He was paired back to his grand dtr who flew 660 miles as a yearling winning a high place in the NFC. Her grand mother was raced by Colin Shimwell who was timed at 580 miles into a NE wind at 1 minute to 10pm. She was the furtherest flying bird by over 60 miles that day. The sire was the sire of my 1st section Pau 660 miles.

A truely well bred bird who has proved himself as a breeder. If I was not 4 1/2 hours drive away I would not hesitate to try to buy him his off spring back. Atb with the sale I hope they get their true worth and breed you the goods. MJB
