geordie1234 Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 So the dust has settled after a long hard season, what's the target next season? For me the main target is timing from the gold cup 2 times now I've tried and failed this year being quicker but still around 4 hours off the result...Also with less time on my hands I won't be going to every race either and prob just concentrate on a 500 mile plus team...Most likely no darkness pigeons either
walterboswell59 Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 hope to be going for a gold award and another silver award in the snfc next year have to see how it goes be happy with one them and a lot more national diplomas with a good strong team for the snfc races won six old bird races so cant complain looking forward to 2016
Kyleakin Lofts Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Looking forward to finishing my loft, working the team hard to come to an evaluation of their merit and my ability. The loft will allow me to adopt some new management principles that I have in mind.If it goes according to plan, these things rarely do, then I would hope to have a try at an Inland National at least and most of the channel Nationals at best.
dal2 Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Same as usual........the holy grail.......or mission impossible....an snfc win
Guest jason Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 my only aim for 2016 is to beat my neighbour at most of the young bird races....it doesn't sound a lot but after an 8 year break from the birds, I'd be happy with that.
eastcoaster Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Have had my own programme for birds and gave 6 years to get where I want to be and 4 years in think they are getting better each year , it's been tough but timing on shift from clermont and only dropping one bird from 16 sent to nats give me a reason to be content but my aim is to win a club race in Airdrie club and maybe top fed lol , because I may have to to win club .All best to all and hope you reach your goal .
