Definately a Sparrowhawk as the Peregrine has a distinct yellow face and a Goshawk is the size of a Buzzard.

What size is the bird in picture .

Sparrowhawks have striking yellow eyes, short wings and a long tail. They are identifiable for their short sharp bursts of speed and are real sprinters. They often fly in a "beep beep glide" pattern.

Peregrine falcons, however, have dark eyes, long wings and a short tail. They cruise with rapid steady wing beats and drop like a bullet onto prey. They are also characterised by their moustache: black marks that reach down below the eyes. They look as if they are wearing a mask

SPARROWHAWK IT IS , AND TO CLOSE THIS TOPIC, IT WILL NOT BE BACK AS IT GOT A FRIGHT YESTERDAY

Vagin here as Im having problems with this site (cant sign in as Vagin) This bop has been at my loft a few times last time three weeks ago it sat in a tree watching my loft for a couple of hours then left with a empty belly. I dont let my birds out and have fixed louver covers on the front of the loft.

you say you cant sign in as Vagin, is it not because your username is VAGIN, uppercase,

I tried to e-mail you as well, got message returned, so if you have changed your e-mail that will be the problem,

I really wish that maybe 1% of the comments in this post would actually address the issue during the winter

Just for the sake of the Pigeon
