Roland Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Well hope the good lady earns enough to buy herself another house lol. By the way no law etc. can stop you having pigeons. No council etc. etc regardless what they say, imply or threaten. But then with the wife sharing the houses no problem eh!

Guest IB Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Good luck with your house move. On the question of taking your pigeons with you: Assuming your new garden is big enough it is well worthwhile asking your lawyer (when doing the normal conveyancing searches that you already pay them for) to check if there are any onerous conditions ("burdens") attached to the property e.g that prevent your keeping pigeons, and even if there are, you might get agreement from your neighbours which once given mean that that condition 'falls' after a set period, and can no longer be enforced.
