peter pandy Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Last piece of information I had was they must be 2 metres from any part of the house and no planning permission reqd if it is not a permanent fixture.
greenlands Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 I think the laws are might be different for different areas, local to me it's one metre from any boundary, there's also a height restriction.
flying fifer Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Local laws apply, there will be a minimum distance from you boundary, height restriction before planning permission or building warrant is needed. Gone are the good old days when " yi kid day what yi liked ", much depends on how the neighbours react to it.
jonl6280 Posted April 19, 2014 Author Report Posted April 19, 2014 Cheers lads, will phone my local council on Tues morn.
