no im not jimmy but lets just say theres not as many as there was m8 and it dont take long for more to move in so got to keep it up there is no wrong time to sort this just better times and every little helps we all must sacrafice a few to save many ive even been catching streeters and taking them for a spin and found they hang around longer so theres plenty that can be done just not many with the balls to do it want others to do it for them it will only have a long term effect if we all help m8

Well that went from my question to birds of prey and what can be done well stop giving to charity and funnel the money into lobbeying press and politicians ,try to let people see the real concerns we have and work to change law ,and for those who say this would take to long ,this problem has been here for nearly 30 year to my knowledge and whats been done by feds and the big orginisations f--k all as far as i can see.

thats because its a waste of time phil you have to help yourself m8 mp and joe public are not interested in our sport we would be better off paying peoples fines with our money imo start a bop fund to help those who are helping us

Does everyone train there birds ,if they are fit and flying well at home ,do they need to be learnt way home ,or are we waisting time ,after all they have inbuilt homing instinct what do you yhink.

IMHO the basket training of a racing pigeon is only to fine tune the work you have already done at the loft.

I.e health,and good loft exercising . :animatedpigeons:

I'm not a trainer as I don't get any enjoyment out of driving up/down the motorways. My birds are kept fit around the house but do need a couple of tosses before the first race to sharpen them up.I gave my hens three short tosses and sent them to the midweek race where they were 3mins behind the winner and came out the back not breaking from the batch. They all homed on top of each other so the trained birds were much sharper than mine but mine had no problem homing and after a couple more races hopefully they might win something but will not be trained again this season.
