Novice Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 I think the tests are done routinely but not sure if they only start when you hit 60.
peter pandy Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 I think the tests are done routinely but not sure if they only start when you hit 60. I have been tested every 2 years for prostrate by the NHS. Very simple procedure..
fid Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 A PSI test, just ask youre doc iricspective of how old you are if you have any concerns just ask. Catch it early enough and it CAN be sorted.
kelly tom Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Catch it early and it will save your life I had two tumours in my prostate and had surgery ,it will be eight years next month if I hadn't went for a test I wouldn't be here
Walter swanston Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I agree with all comments.Next week I will be 81 years old and a cancer survivor, early intervention can save your life I just wish old age could make me a better pigeon fancier.
greenlands Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 R.I.P. Robert. Very true about the tests, the NHS send them out.I had a colonoscopy some months back, luckily the results came back clear.
