just reading walters thread on Unikon it seems to me that there a host of glitches catches with Unikon to get you to pay more money after the system has been bought that you dont pay with bricon

im a Unikon owner so not biased club insurances battery replacement etc

i dont hear many bricon users saying the same or am i wrong

Few a of the lads in our club have problems with getting a signal with the Bricon before the birds are basketed for racing. A few others including myself are using the Tipes system with no problems at all and no extra hidden charges when you have the system up and running :animatedpigeons:

I had the full works of Unikon Champ. After sales are none existent and Fobbing off their' specialty. Then what did they do? Only get shot of their Agents. Mind they were pathetic, but said that though they tried, they were cut short at every turn. I sold it off real cheap. Am in a Club where all are Bricon now ... outside of one who's Knighties mate. Another club I'm in is Benzing. Which I have to say is first class. Jim is superb and so very helpful... Indeed nothing is too much trouble and IS THERE to help. Say no more.

have used Bricon for the last few years had one problem with my setting up but Mark Palmer was always there to help and was very pleasant to speak with as he is at Blackpool, the rings are a fair bit cheaper as well

I used Benzing last season and must admit once I had got my head round it it is simple, very easy to use especially for the fancier who just wants to clock pigeons.

Easy to use Friday and Saturday and easy to add pigeons/rings etc.on the comp.

Had some help off a couple of lads on the site when I first got it,Thank you for keeping me right. :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

I think any individual system will go equally well at club level as everyone in that club is familiar with their own system whether it is Unikon, Bricon, Tauris, Tipes etc. It's when they all come together at an Open Marking station that the bother starts because few seem familiar with all the different ETS systems. OK the different makers clocks are connected to the marking station base via a universal cable, but the operation of each maker's clock is still different and I for one do need assistance when its anything other than Unikon, my club's system.

IB I am a helper at the MNFC and the NFC(SOMETIMES). We have no problem at all with getting any fanciers birds through regardless of their clocking system. Agreed it is the Benzing that is the main master used.

I use Benzing , as do most of my fellow club members , although some are on Unikon , no problems. I find the Benzing easy to use, and any advice is easily sought from Jim Savage the Benzing agent.

Hi Roland. How did you and your fellow markers go about getting trained up on every ETS system?

Benzing ETS in my opinion is a cracking system , our club uses this to great success , touch wood never needed any follow on work in three seasons.

Question

One new member has Unikon clock is this compatible with the Benzing station.

Can the new unikon rings be scanned onto the benzing base for racing?

have to say our club has been using unikon for around 8 years and never had a problem with the system or after sales either d bauld or phoning unikon themselves always first class
