How long would cocks and hens need to be parted for them to pair straight up together when put together in there boxes ?

Depends on them being partners before! put them in the closed box with half brick or such like and it wont take long

Ok, if they haven't been together long will it take a couple of days or something like that. Somebody's give me a few to have a go at breeding but I'm not sure if they've been parted or not. Somebody said the sexes need parting. Will they not go together if they haven't been parted ?

m8 if you dont know if these birds have been paired together before and your not bothered which cocks are going with which hens just open the boxes and put the bowls in and leave them to it they will sort it out them selfs feed them some hemp seed for a week to help make them ramp but if its to cold they might not lay even if they pair you need a bit of luck with weather at this time of year or some heaters in the loft good luck with them

Rab your drinker look the same as mine,it helps a great deal if you put thick bubble rap round the cone and rap parcel tape all round it,then do the same with the bowl then you just cut out one of the holes in the bowl for them to drink from and sit it on a couple of nest felts, done this last year with mine,it worked up to about -14 before my drinkers started to freeze.

i put wooly hats over my cone drinkers keeps frost off,

Kirky it's the north of Scotland were speaking about here -16 to -19 a wooly hat might help in Sunny Scarborough but wouldn't be much use up here mate,if they got the temperatures down there that we get the hole place would be at a stand-still. :emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0140-rofl:
