Now be honest lol I will have 18cocks and 16 hens for racing also 13 cocks and 12 hens for stock I will be further reducing my stock though as It's spiralled out of control lol 2 hens will be used for the 2 extra cocks for a start then further to be reduced Now I've been honest how many are you wintering??

Blue Tooner Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 61 old birds plus i also have 18 summer bred ybs and 24 stock birdsI only have the summer bred ybs due to the way yb losses were going but returns improved so therefore i now have too many but these summer bred ones are now in training and will be trained hard on good days over the next month or two.

KMCK Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 We have 26 young birds a mixture of latebreds in there, 6 old bids left from racing this year 7 pair of stock birds but some didn't produce this year so so they will be given next year then we have a decision to make, but now loft is settled we will try and build a team up now

Update I have selected 5 pairs out the stock loft, .....although they won't be binned as 90% of my stock pigeons have flown out at some point and have been trained....so they will atleast get a chance on the road....I'm sure there will be a surprise
