Was up at my mates the other day waiting on the toss doos coming back from Dunbar, 3 Peregrines hanging about above his loft, just be luck he got the doos in before any carnage started.

 

He let them out the day, one short from the house area.

 

I no they are running the gauntlet from the race point to home, but when its happening around the doors, you have to ask yourself, is the doo game really worth it nowadays.

It's not easy I lost 5 in 9 days from loft exercise after 25 years of peregrine attacks I have learnt to live with it some times better than others .

Last post very true they are afraid of nothing I had to shoo a Sparra hen away 3 times it just kept on ripping the poor doo to death but the 4th shoo done the trick ,off to hell she went lol . It is getting harder to take .

Don't know about being lucky but have watched them swerve away at the last moment and I include Goshawk's as well.

Never seen a goshawk going about Peter but this could explain my young birds going missing about the loft will be looking a bit harder in the future
