Pigeon Thos Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 Let my young birds out at 7.00pm and they normally disappear for 45 to 60 mins. After 70 mins it got darker and darker, thunder and lightning at 8.20 and chucking it down. 9.45 now and not a single bird. Like a national race I will be up at B o'clock pacing the floor. Anyone got some spare goldfish.

Wiley Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Unfortunately at the moment the skies are full off pigeons. Fit youngsters when out will chase any team of pigeons they see racing the skies. I reckon they e tagged onto somebodies trainers, and come into some form of difficulty. They'll work there way back today with a bit luck. Hope they work back for you mate Unfortunately at the moment the skies are full off pigeons. Fit youngsters when out will chase any team of pigeons they see racing the skies. Pigeon Thos Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 Here's hoping Paul. They all have telephone rings and I got a phone call from Henry Borthwick over in Winchburgh this morning to say he had one and there was another couple hanging about. As I said they were ranging well so have to presume they got shut out with the thunderplombs we had. Just hope for some more phone calls.

Pigeon Thos Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 What a gentleman. Henry Borthwick has just driven through from Winchburgh to hand in one of my youngsters. Thank you very much Henry and I look forward to doing you as big a favour some time in the future.
