ALF Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 28 birds a crateJamie i think if you are paying for your own crate you could put as many yb's in it as you like mate i suppose maybe even 34 or 35 would be ok if they are only in in a couple of hours
bigjamie Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 if there training out of there will the ybs be racing from the west this year
geordie1234 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Jamie they are racing from the west apart from the otterburns
airdrie2 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 28 birds a crateREMEMBER WE HAD 32 BIRDS TO A CRATE IN ONE OF THE OLD BIRD RACES JAMIE
geordie1234 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 I think you could put 35-38 not prob considering we had 32 for oldbirds and its only a toss
ALF Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 I think you could put 35-38 not prob considering we had 32 for oldbirds and its only a tossi know people that put 50 in the old fed size wicker baskets for yb training and never had any probs
geordie1234 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Alan a wanted to say 50 but thought I would be shot down in flames for saying it lol
bigjamie Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 george we had 32 to a basket one week mate because they were short of baskets then old shearer asked for 26 birds to a basket the following week complaining there were to many birds to a basket
