Nobody said you were there for the good of there health but its time that the SNFC spent a couple of pounds that was collected for a new transporter on a few phones to let us armchair controllers know exactly why the birds are being held at race point after too days hold over , are we not allowed to watch weather forecasts and give there opinion of what they think , by the way I do know a we bit about the weather after 23 years pounding the sea as a North Sea tiger . As a member of this club for forty years I for one is not going ta shut up I conditioned my bird for flying 650 miles and its my right as every other member to see my bird gets the best chance and if it means ruffling a few feathers I have big enough shoulders ta take whatever is coming my way and ta John Quinn I don't need any chip ironed out o my shoulders truth hurts and I still stand by what I posted when the chance comes we must take it , kenny I am not saying your a liar but its very easy ta send a photo onto the screen at first light and mid day , as I posted on this site every year that the line of flight should be shown from race point first light ??? But thanks ta LEE Barrie showing how easy it is. Ta keep the North of Scotland fed members happy showing the lib from Battle for our sprint 500mile event this morning cheers

by far the easiest way to keep members updated with pics and reports is facebook.we are now in 2013, not the 70's this is the way forward.for all moaners that say "I dont have facebook".ask a member of your family this is the way to go.

Not sure what to think about guessing the time the first birds will arrive.

Think for a doo to make it to our place and the surrounding areas it would need to be a clear night and the birds would have to be on the go until dark.

2300 hours is 40.2 mph to us. Stranger things have happened in the SNFC, but I think realistically it will be an early morning job.

Good luck everyone

I hope you are right.

Think theres more West in it than there was last year, when the Sec D winner was up in under 11 and a half hours.

All we can do is wait and see, maybe even resort to prayer :emoticon-0136-giggle:

I've doos away training just been released at 1215 60 miles South East of us into the wind. Will see how long it takes them the day but I think by the time the Alencon doos will be up here the wind will be one and a half times as strong as it is now.

Best of luck with both yer races this weekend Walter. Hope ye get some good yins :emoticon-0137-clapping:
