Very Old Ring On Pigeon Found In Glenrothes

Just had a phone call to say that the following pigeon was picked up by a non fancier in Glenrothes;

 

Blue Hen GB90E27364 although this ring is very old, it is reported the bird is thought to be a yearling late bred.

 

This pigeon is currently in the hands of Jim Benvie from Kirkcaldy, who is keen to return it to it's owner, any help/info would be appreciated.

shu same mik and as far as i know rpra do not report your birds to you if your not a reg member is that correct ive neaver had one gb bird that has been trans fered to me reported in 20 year and ive had loads in my name

If the RPRA have a ring registered to someone outside their union they will notify that person....because duplicate letters are sent out. The one who reports has to know where who ring belongs to and they cant notify them without notifying owner. The only way you wont be notified if contact details is in correct.
