Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 why not ?The Lanarkshire Social circle has a slightly larger radius than that of the Federation, it brings a larger catchment of long distance minded fanciers to compete for the clubs 28 Silver trophies which are to be won on the longer Federation races plus all the SNFC races.

frank-123 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Walter would it not be good if Burnbank could buy some baskets. I know Blantyre is quite well off maybe if the clubs that can afford it help there fed out. Bit more commitment from clubs is needed.

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Here's your statement Danny, Clubs who buy their own crates will have their name put onto an equivalent number of crates on the transporter, which will arrive with a FULL set of crates for both Trucks and Trailers. The clubs who have the funds and the wherewithal to think of doing this are to be applauded. Logistically when the trucks arrive at these clubs on basketing night there will be a one off one on system in place, all baskets coming off having been used by them the week before, we know that because their names on them!! You see it is the Committee's intention/wish to have 2 full sets of crates at our disposal to help with time on collection night and negate the need for the trucks to be running round on a week night dropping off baskets to clubs who haven't been able to buy baskets themselves. Which of course they will get delivered for that weeks race, that scenario however Costs the Fed in Fuel and Drivers wages, also not forgetting the club members time who have to be at their club for collection of the crates. So you see Danny these clubs, including the Social Circle, are HELPING the Fed. ...............On that note of HELPING the Fed, have YOU helped this week by Buying a ticket for the Presentation Night on Friday??? will the fed not be supplying Geraldy crates to each club ? and even if bigda is washing his hair on Friday he could still buy a ticket :emoticon-0140-rofl:
