i did,nt try to put the guy on a downer it is the one who advised him

as far as late breds go you will get 1 out a 1,000 that is any good

the right doo men will breed them but they will mostly be for stock

or sales for club funds .by the way what have you done with your late breds

have you won anything I DONT THINK SO

could some right doo men back me up

the post was put up to help the man out , pure and simple . yes it can be a bit "hit & miss" with late-breds . they were for his "future" in the sport , how he chose to deal with them ,will be a lesson or learning curve ,he will learn bye .i have a late-bred here that done me well , went on to score at the distance and since moving has bred many winners , i will hopefully gift him some in the coming year and he , in turn , will do well them , rather than have the man open to being criticised for a minor mis-take while learning how to keep doo,s .(thats a polite way of saying " wind yer kneck in" ) :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Late breds are no different to early bred birds, in fact they are exactly the same, the only difference is the way we treat them, they are best on open loft, like all birds the more they are out there flying the better, they learn nothing shut in a loft

I''ve bred a few late breds each year, Odd toss in winter and for the last two year i've had a latebred prize, 1st club, 161 birds, and 7th fed just sure of 1600+ birds.. latebreds can just be good as early bred young birds.

Exactly, It's only us that know they're latebreds not the bird
