Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Gareth what a load of P*** I'm further west than you and there's nothing anybody can do to change that coming up with that excuse is patheticSorry for putting up a constructive post, with facts to back it up, now are you saying my map and points are wrong ???
Scousebilly Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Hello, i hope you don't mind me correcting you on a few points. We race from the east side of the country and the country lies south east to north west, so there is no injustice of the section you fly in.jmo Now if we were flying from west wales and the far west coast of France, then maybe i could show some sympathy to your location and section that you fly too, White line from Red marker shows line from Stirling down through Larkhall which is Straight north to south, yellow line from red marker shows approx the race points to Maidstone eastbourne Ypres and Clermont. ***Its 300 miles from Ypres to the white line of the west of of France which is due south of both Larkhall and Stirling. Pity the President didn't have a slide of this picture at the AGM to show to the members. Gareth could you post me down your copy of Lanarkshire book of excuses, because it must be some read Stirling Lat 56.12N Lon 3.94W Larkhall Lat 55.44N Lon 3.48W since you have better powers than God Mabe you could make lightning Fast further south than you aswell

peter pandy Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Gareth,Take your yellow line and position it from Stirling to the Cherbourgh Peninsular and until recent changes in liberation sites that was the race line. FAIRNESS get a life wake up and smell the coffee.

FAIRNESS get a life wake up and smell the coffee.Peter, whats to wake up about, i always try to be factual and construct good posts. PSCherboug peninsular, yes its closer, but still not near the line of flight of Larkhall, anyway don't believe we will ever see races from that area of France for a long time.

JADE Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 seems to me Gareth wants to have his cake and eat it too. Could we not make the sections dog legged to suit the west
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Please do that Gareth because if you can make me more south and east I can't start winning national cause it's that easyIts not easy flying into your location to win a national, but never can it be justified that you should be flying in the same section as myself.
Scousebilly Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 seems to me Gareth wants to have his cake and eat it too. Could we not make the sections dog legged to suit the west Location : Stirling Lat : 56.12N Lon : 3.94W ASL : 33m Sunrise : 8:13 GMT Sunset : 16:44 GMT You asked: What is the latitude and longitude of Larkhall, Scotland?55°44'28"N and 3°58'02"W the group of objects: the latitude 55 degrees 44 minutes and 28 seconds north and the longitude 3 degrees 58 minutes and 2 seconds west your internet must be a better one or does it run Lanarkexcuse ver 8.01

Henrik Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 I passed up a seconder last year and sh*t out,but don't intend on doing the same this year. Would like to bring a proposal for four cross channel races, with no inland events to the floor at the SNFC AGM 2014. If it gets gubbed then at least I can say I have tried, instead of feeling like I felt after last week's meeting Needs to be in writing for next years AGM
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Needs to be in writing for next years AGM Yep That was one of the things I did manage to pick up at the meeting
peter pandy Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Yep That was one of the things I did manage to pick up at the meeting If you need a seconder Lewis look no further.

Rooster J. Cogburn Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 If you need a seconder Lewis look no further. Cheers Peter I've spoken to some others who are behind the idea,so we're spoiled for choice
geordie1234 Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Would bring it back to what the club was intended for

clockman Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 To me its more than the club or any individual. It's for whats right by Scottish pigeon racing on the whole and with a view to fairness. Got many months to gather all the facts, figures and arguements needed to put the proposal forward with a reasonable chance of being carried. thats an inland event Clocky aye but you said no inland events

peter pandy Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 I just wished those who voted for inland Nationals had the same enthusiasm for bringing back Combine racing and leave us who want 500+ miles racing alone to get on with it. What peed me off was people who voted for inland racing who never participate across the DUB upsetting my enjoyment.
