ovy1255 Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 never broke mine down-but they have been locked in since end of season ,they have been innoculated and vac sheet done wormed ,cankered one spotted and sprayed.all are now on last flight and paired and will be laying wednesday with a bit luck.they have had wheatgerm oil on the corn plenty of fresh grit daily and calcium tablets crushed on the corn.alls looking well fingers crossed.loft has been put on deep litter with medicated powder under it.lights on till 6.30pm so i can see to them after work-loft manager[old guy used to have birds] feeds them during the day and cleans them out-[big help] and lets them out of there boxes one pair at a time.

andyyy Posted December 20, 2012 Report Posted December 20, 2012 I sent a testing kit before i paired up, All came back clear. Fed them plenty of corn, Gave them fresh grit and minerals and should be going down on eggs towards next week. Got about 36 pair ready to go down.
