but also the fact that we can now delay marking is just a important. as most hold overs that can be avoided will be and the new transporters are actualy capable of maintaining our birds for a resonable period of time in the event of a hold over cant be avoided

Really pleased that the members have passed it to have new transportation, i have no doubt that there are going to be teething problems but these will be overcome.

 

With other proposals that got passed, Lanarkshire fanciers will now be part of a federation that they can be proud of.

Yes onwards and upwards for Lanarkshire fed from now i think after some great work by Gareth the members at the meeting have decided to get the ball rolling and voted in favour of getting new transporters for next season we will have a website aswell a wee bit of flexibility to when we will need to basket either friday or saturday with oor race controller in charge of it

 

I think we need to look at having yb sales for our fed tae as a few feds have their yb sales in Lanarkshire and make money for their feds so wee need to look at ways of making money for our fed..

So glad it went well at the meeting. Gareth is a credit to Lanarkshire fed. Some time and effort went into those proposals for the new transportation and fantastic and very generous of vince Hendry getting the long overdue website up and running. Now the hard work starts!
