bigjamie Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 i got sad news from a club member tonight that two of our club members lofts were burnt to the ground i know these 2 guys will be devastated one of the 2 guys does none stop work for the club these guys have been in this compound for years aswell im gutted for them i dont know if we can have a donation for these guys or not to try and get them some kind of help

TOMMY R Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 sorry to hear this had a friend recently deceased during y.b season his family have asked me to sort his birds out his name is w.salmon he won the nehu queens cup in 2006 but due to pigeon lung health problems his birds wern,t given the justice they deserved . all the young birds have flown maidstone 276 miles & the old birds flown out to clermont 425 miles a couple of the y.bs have scored this season including 1st club 10th fed the birds are a mixture of busscheart/ marcellis/janarden . There are 14 y.bs (10 hens /4 cocks) 13 old birds (7 hens /6 cocks) the lads are welcome to these birds if it will help them out tommy

I hope both can find the will to go on, I will help with any construction and clear up needed
