with it only being 2nd race sunday looks a lot better.you can bet a £ to a penny you will get a few having a hee haw at not getting a race on saturday.as some look out their window see a bit sun then start hee hawing. that said was your ears burning last weekend as am not an early morning man. still good race won,t over do the feeding this week and hope for a better trap

Yeah but I was more worried than how it turned out! I was never sending Peter as I have a bowling comp so I am thankful it looks better than I feared

no race today the birds are on there way back.

what a waste of time and money.

Has to be a lesson learned today for the Midlothian fanciers, a race should only be delayed if it is a total washout forecast for the following day. Being picky of what day is to be the best, doesn't work.

Peter as you say you have made 1 mistake but i have always been of the opinion that the doos have to be at the racepoint as the weather is that unpredictable now get them down there and then if need be cancel the race after it mate...

I spoke to Peter sat morn and he was a bit miffed at calling off race as the forecast he got and what came about was different , what is it they say about hindsight ? He was only thinking of the birds end of

Correct 100%. Peter made the call and fair play to him the first few comments were that it was an amazing piece of controlling and now he is shot doon!!!

My post was never meant as criticism of Peter but i have always thought that unless there is absolutely no chance of a race the doos go to the race point on a friday AND THEN THE RACE CONTROLLER DOES HIS JOB
