Just got a message from the Avanti resteraunt on Main Street Kirkby Lonsdale.

Seems my 2yr old mealy pied hen that was entered into the Clermont race has ended up sitting on the outside tables and has now be confined in a box.

Nothing out of the ordinary there???

Apart from the same bird was rescued from the same hotel as a young bird??????

They must have some memory????

Will have to go get it tomorrow bloody useless little bugger!!!!

Must admit Steve, they do make you think sometimes, looked down the garden a couple of days ago and there was a red ch.hen trying to get into the old bird loft, lost her at a stinker of a race from Cheltenham/Tewkesbury area in the middle of May,she's had a rough shift but flew well for me as a young bird and yearling, she'll get another chance. :animatedpigeons:

Ye Frank have had them reported in Holland before and never seen them again??? It was a hen that was well in from Laferte Bernard one year and the next gold cup ended up in Holland I went thru the motions but the finder stopped answering calls and I gave up

Had a Yb in a couple of weeks back for 1 night, the owner collected it, started training again and it was coming well from some stiff tosses. First race on Saturday and it was at my loft long before loads of fanciers had seen a doo.
