Delboy Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 I just edited my post cause I spotted that Alan, expletive remove thats terrible
Delboy Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 ive used this system for many years now and found it brilliant.
frank-123 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Great idea Jade using the ETS as a rubber ring in a manual clock would the club and fed allow it the man has his sheet marked the bird's are at the race It has never happened in such a big race although it has happened to me before in a sprint race when my pad failed Come on Lanarkshire Give the guy a break he is gutted his birds might put all that effort in for nothing.

Surely some Lanarkshire delegate could verify a pigeon if it homed.expletive remove , take a photo of it on his phone.Although the keeper will lose a wee bit of time, he will still get a time.
ALF Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 ANYBODY GOT AN SHU RULE BOOK HANDY? I HAVE JUST HAD A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT GERRY COULD TAKE HIS DOO TO THE CLOCK STATION MASTER TIMER AND STRIKE HIS DOO AGAINST IT AND THEN THE DOO COULD BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED WELL A RULE BOOK WOULD BE GOOD IF ANYONE COULD CHECK IT ON HERE THE NOO???
JADE Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 SHU ets rule 19 (from 2005 rule book)"In the event of ETS failing to record arrival time on presenting pigeon with assigned ets ring at checking station member will be credited with checking time"
ALF Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 SHU ets rule 19 (from 2005 rule book)"In the event of ETS failing to record arrival time on presenting pigeon with assigned ets ring at checking station member will be credited with checking time" SO GERRY ISNAE OOT OF THE RACE AT ALL THEN ^_^ ^_^ SHU ets rule 19 (from 2005 rule book)"In the event of ETS failing to record arrival time on presenting pigeon with assigned ets ring at checking station member will be credited with checking time" THANKS JADE I TAKE BACK ALL I HAVE SAID ABOUT YE IN THE PAST

PETER WHITE IS THE GUY THAT RUNS THE CLOCK STATION DEL AND HE IS LESS THAN 5 MINS AWAY FROM US BY CAR IF 1 OF US WENT WITH HIM TO PETERS AND SHOWED THE DOO AND STRUCK THE MASTER TIMER SURELY THAT WOULD DO AS PER THE RULES??

Doesnt state at clock checking time it could surely be arranged for an official to meet and verify bird. Still think he should be allowed to remove ets ring and time it in. If your manual clock fails you can get it opened and time into another member or write rubber details on a slip of paper and time into another member as back up

It doesnt register in any base station without the clock that the ring numbers in.
yeboah Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 How do you time an ets ring in? It doesnt register in any base station without the clock that the ring numbers in.Right there Derik.

yeboah Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 No of a fancier down here who removes the ets before the birds are sent to the marking station and gets a clock set instead, believes the birds have a better chance from 500 plus if its at the front less weight to carry ,can't argue with the gent 1st and 3rd open same doo ,No it is of no help to this fancier but food for thought perhaps .
airdrie2 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 How do you time an ets ring in? It doesnt register in any base station without the clock that the ring numbers in.strike a time on base station and print scan ring and it will still give you an uneique (spelling) code and print i think del most base stations have a memory in them and do store ring numbers benzing has anyway maybe some of the ets experts on here could let us know what they think

daviedoo22 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 IMO P.I.S.H.SORRY about that comment, taking nothing away from the fancier but i think it was nothing to do with the weight of the ETS but the condition of the doo.
DJWa Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Just spoke with a friend of mine who has been let down by his ets, everything is blank and has been told by unikon that all info of the race from Carantan this weekend is lost. Any fancier that uses ets and has the operatunity of getting a rubber put on the other leg, should, its not worth relying on ets when the big races come up. Toulets, stbs, T3's and ets, no difference when it comes to reliablility. is it the pocket clock or the base station thats not working if the base then just take the pocket clock to another fanciers system and swipe the bird across his pad if the pocket clock then the base will still record the arrival timeas it does when your at your club with the pocket clockjust dont know if you can retrieve the infoeven if its recorded under trainer mode just a thought but will your club not have all the pocket clocks detailsof birds etc on computorand if connected to base may be able to retrieve infoor download onto another pocket clockso that details of time etc can be retrieved ???????
