frank-123 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Just returned from marking and was looking at my entries on my sheet the race date was blank and the race point and the race organisation was missing at the very top. but it did show my birds marked on the sheet it look's like they never picked a race point before they marked my birds. do you think it will be ok??

alex wight Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 I would think you will need to let the marking station know of their error. Whether or not its going to be acceptable for the snfc, im not sure. The sheets would all need to be returned to the marking station for a date and race. And it would be up to the marking station to inform the snfc of the error. only my opinion.
frank-123 Posted July 5, 2012 Author Report Posted July 5, 2012 It will be ok as long as it has got the set time. Set time is on the sheet Cheers Gareth

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Set time is on the sheet Cheers GarethThat's good Frank, all that's happened is that a blank race race has been selected instead if Ypres. Time your rubber into your second clock.
ALF Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 HALF OF THE UNIKON DOOS THAT WENT TO ALENCON LAST WEEK WENT TO (CHARNOCK RICHARD) AS THE BASE STATION DID'NT HAVE ALENCON ALREADY IN IT SO THEY JUST SELECTED A RACE I TAKE IT THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED AGAIN FRANK BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE LET US KNOW AS I HAD TO PHONE ANDY GARVEN LAST WEEK JUST TO CHECK IT OUT

Just looked at my print out, lib date says 28/7/12 and lib site says Cold ( Coldstream??) expletive remove.I suppose it is ok because all other details are correct.

Guest stb- Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 never got a second clock setnip over and put yer duplicate in someone elses clock
Guest IB Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 The last 'correct' racepoint shown on the race sheet from the Marking station at Bo'ness was Maidstone. Alencon had none, Niort had 'Whitten' and Ypres is 'Cold'. IMO everybody is marked to the same racepoint on the system by date, so no problems at strike-off.
Henrik Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 The base stations should have had the correct race points entered before the season started, the rule book tells me my ring numbers have to be correct or I have to set a manual clock so the officials should have ensured the base stations were correct as well.
dal2 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 There was a downloasd issued last night!!!! I think i am correct in this
dal2 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Maybe download wrong word,, update maybe better????
Dooheed 5 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Had same thing up here last year ! 2 or 3 snfc races didnt have club, lib date, lib site on the race entry sheets
Williedoo Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Had same thing up here last year ! 2 or 3 snfc races didnt have club, lib date, lib site on the race entry sheetsYour quite right at some races last year the entry sheet that the members got back were blank. The ones that were sent to the SNFC Sec had the race and date manually written on it by the official who checked the clock.

Any way another base station was used which did not have the SNFC races on it and the blank entry sheet was used.
Delboy Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Just thinking, the heading of this thread is wrong, Unikon problem, its not the system thats wrong, its the people thats running the marking stations that havent set it up correctly.
budgie Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 Our Official Race Entry Forms have Ypres and Carentan along with Last Marked and Flight Number.
