Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Anyone heard that Rangers are looking at the possibility of buying Bury FC. with a view to playing in league 1Would be great if true, but most likely it will be people at Rangers giving stories to the press which is to threaten the other SPL teams into allowing Rangers re entry in to the SPL without to harsh sanctions / punishments.

Guest stb- Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 they should be heading to division three but i think they may end up in spl which would be a travestytravesty if they dont spl FOR THE GERS MAGIC
VMS Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 they should be heading to division three but i think they may end up in spl which would be a travestyHow is it a travesty, for me the travesty is the bitterness shown to Rangers from rival fans when they should be concetration in celebrating winning the league for the first time in three years.
Pompey Mick Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Pompey's up for sale, and we've got enough Scottish ex-RN exiles down here to fill the stadium.

AR Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 they should be heading to division three but i think they may end up in spl which would be a travestyYou're no tellin me as a Celtic man you don't want rangers in the spl. It's the only games you have to look forward to. If rangers not there there will be a lot of empty seats at parkhead next year. 3 of my mates not renewing there tickets at parkhead
geordie1234 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18539483 Just need another 3 to say no then it's bye bye for the time being
geordie1234 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Mind you Aberdeen and Hibs look to say no aswell so could the big one lie with Celtic? Dundee Utd have just issued this statement on their website after meeting with their fans... "Dundee United tonight met with Supporters' groups to discuss the newco situation prior to the all club vote on the proposal to transfer Rangers share on 4th July. Following what was a robust and constructive meeting, the Club's position on how we will vote was substantiated by the viewpoint of the various supporters groups. The meeting finished with all in agreement as to what the correct course of action would be. The Board of Directors of Dundee United are unequivocal in the belief that a form of sporting punishment must form part of the reasoning behind any decision made and, therefore, cannot vote the newco into the SPL. General sporting integrity and, more importantly, the integrity of Scottish football must also play a significant part in the decision making process. It is our belief that any form of sporting punishment must be unambiguous in the message it displays.

geordie1234 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 "SIR" David Murray The workers at Ibrox and the fans who are losing outCorrect Murray and the Ranger hierarchy! I do feel for the fans as Mad Vlad says who have been lied to for years. Frank do you think the fans will desert the club if they go down the league's?

If rangers not there there will be a lot of empty seats at parkhead next year. 3 of my mates not renewing there tickets at parkheadi want Rangers in the spl and like most football fans wish that the situation had never arisen, but for the SPORT to retain any integrity then there must be a punishment, personally i think the best punishment will be when the titles won during the last 10 years are made nul and void and the records should say that they were never won because of the actions of Rangers f.c.

CORRECT DECISION AS FAR AS I SEE , THE BOARD HAVE LISTENED TO THERE TEAMS SUPPORTERS , ONCE AN ARAB ALWAYS AN ARAB
frank-123 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Correct Murray and the Ranger hierarchy! I do feel for the fans as Mad Vlad says who have been lied to for years. Frank do you think the fans will desert the club if they go down the league's? I don't think the true fan's will leave the club Rangers are in people's blood.
geordie1234 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 I don't think the true fan's will leave the club Rangers are in people's blood.Aye true mate there is always a hardcore number of fans who will be there thick and thin
Guest bigda Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 going down to the 3division will give you all time to regroup, make the mistkes in there, for if you do make any in the first division, it will be harder to correct and it would not make good reading finishing 2 or even third in there.
billt Posted June 21, 2012 Author Report Posted June 21, 2012 A Football club has nothing to do with who owns it, it's the fans that make a club, the previous owner has been fiddling the books nothing Rangers FC, The club or the fans can do about that, so who do we punish, The club has no brain, the fans have no voice, the gutless SFA leave it up to a vote of the SPL teams to see if they should remain in the SPL, Most of those teams will never get a chance of putting one over Rangers FC so I wonder how the voting will go, It will be a very poor league without them, I'm English living in Wales so no axe to grind
