neuky Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 On the internet Karen SNFC website? They will tell you when they have been released! Yes I have been on the website and it appears as contradicting information -as it states S.N.F.C. NEWBURY INLAND NATIONAL-TUESDAY- The Convoyers and Race Controller due to time constraints have decided to hold over till tomorrow. Total SNFC Birdage -3756-Sections-A-646,B-790,C-637,D-392,E-1001,F-180,G-110; to my understanding reading that quote - the birds appear to be at Newbury not Cheltenham

JADE Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Surely someone with direct contact with the officials (I mean committee men) can get a proper message put on the lib line.Like Karen I read the message as saying the birds are still at Newbury but I have a gut feeling they are at Cheltenham. I am sorry that 2 of the controllers appear to have resigned. I hope they reconsider. I try not to criticise officials as it is a thankless task but I feel we have been badly let down as regards information. I have no problem with the controllers decisions.

budgie Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Like the Famous Glasgow Rangers the Greatest Club in the Land at its Feet.Contollers have spit the Dummy in the Past and resigned and it will happen in the Future.Dont bring them back to Longtown we were there last week and got hammered.Lets hope they are still sitting at Newbury the weather looks as if it should be fine. The next Inland National will be a Disaster in terms of Birdage its time we were back to Rennes and Nantes and forget about theses meaningless races.Good Luck tommorrow.
Guest WINGS 04 Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Look like it would not take much to send you rangers fans over the edge after today just like rangers this race will be history in a few weeks

Walter swanston Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I was told years ago when I first tried to run our Federation KEEP THE MEMBERS INFORMED and I count it amongst the best advice I ever received, the lack of up to date information on the SNFC website throughout this saga is regrettable.

Guest stb- Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 so where are the birds just now newbury ?? leicester ? cheltenham ?? or where will they be tommorow , this is prob the worst ive seen trying to get factual information
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 I was told years ago when I first tried to run our Federation KEEP THE MEMBERS INFORMED and I count it amongst the best advice I ever received, the lack of up to date information on the SNFC website throughout this saga is regrettable. Agree with this. In all organizations which give little or no information, there is usually a great resentment and suspicion within its ranks. Much of the remarks on here to day, is the frustration that this lack of information causes In this day and age there is no excuss, for not giving out real time information. That is all the members ask, to be kept up to date Something needs done on that score.
knoxjn Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 what an utter shambles this is dont think the national will ever be the same you cant have race controllers being overruled no one should be phoning the convoyers other than the race controllers the minute it ws a hold over the birs should have been moved back to newbury they had all afternoon
