Results From Midlothian Federation

Hi all

 

It is with regret that I will no longer be able to post the race results up each week due to an objection from one of the clubs. As this site is Internet based I am legally obliged to do this. Unfortunately I do not have the time to do two sets of results to remove one club. If any of the members of the federation would like the a copy of the results emailed to them directly please send me a message with your email address, as this is easy enough to add onto my current mailing list.

I am not having a go at anyone or wanting to even know the ins and outs. Just a simple question as I am confused.

 

Why can a member stop this when I feel its great the fed are up with the times and moving along great with new Secretary?

 

 

What if I decided I did not want my name on when SNFC result or there web page. Would that mean the SNFC would never advertise there results?

 

Again I am not having a go. Just simple question

Is it only this site that they have objected against their results being shown, or is it all sites?

I thought Feds were managed by all its clubs not one, one club cannot make Fed rules, hopefully all the other clubs in the Fed will put their club results up,

I don't mind re typing result minus the club in question. And if or when a member is in top 20 just leave blank! I feel if someone tops fed or has a good result should be entitled to show the results

Surely in a democratic federation if the majority of members or clubs want the result on this site then I don't see a problem. I also agree with Mr Massey that Evelyn was doing a good job and taking the fed forward in the right direction. Or is it a case of the tail wagging the dog!!!!!!!!!!

Right this has been doing my nut in all day!!! I don't get paid enough!!

 

I'm not divulging information to whom has objected as I ain't getting wrapped up in pigeon politics. I understand completely where everyone is coming from, as it is a good advertisement for the Federation as stated before bringing Pigeon Racing into the "new age". As Mr Massey said it could be done to the fact that the objection in question could be removed, I don't have the time to raise two results, one for clubs and one for PB. This decision wasn't a fed decision. I have ran websites myself and you must have the permission of everyone involved to disclose any information. If someone objects to this you are obliged to remove this information, especially when this comes to internet based information, I've seen sites shut down for less. It all comes down to the data protection act, which can be as much as a name on a piece of paper.

 

I think I have found a quick way in which I can do this without having to muck about with my result. So what I'll do is continue to put the fed result up but remove the name(s) in question. If anyone else has an objection to me putting the result up get in touch with me before the next race!!!!!

 

I thought it would be an easier solution just to get it emailed to everyone but I didn't take into account that other feds like to view it or the advertising aspect of PB so apologies for that.

just post your result highlight and dekete the numbnuts who dont want the credit for there birds , they dont deserve any credit anyway .

 

what happens if the result gets posted in the brittish homming worls or similar papers are the numpties gonna take them to court .
