maverick Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 You must have some very good hens in your loft if you left theses 2 out Alf birds that HAVE RACED WELL AND BRED WINNERS. REMEMBER ALF THE APPLE NEVER FALLS FAR FROM THE TREE, think i would have found cocks for them mate
maverick Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 i dont look at any as sprinters just send them ower the splash and if they dont come hame weel there no distance doos As Eddie Newcombe says THE BIRD DOES NOT KNOW ITS A SPRINTER FEED FOR THE JOB and when the bird comes out the race basket it does not know how far away from home it is

REMEMBER ALF THE APPLE NEVER FALLS FAR FROM THE TREE, think i would have found cocks for them mate My thoughts also Have taken 2 hens out of the race team - put into the stock loft - they bred nothing and are now going back on the road this year they're aged 4 and 5 but if they had bred youngsters to score they would have been left in the stock loft
Guest stb- Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 As Eddie Newcombe says THE BIRD DOES NOT KNOW ITS A SPRINTER FEED FOR THE JOB and when the bird comes out the race basket it does not know how far away from home it isyes providing there prepared and feed for the job in hand thats spot on
