a decision will never be better than the reaity of the truth ,something we all do in a regular basis , with hind sight we went with national to show we could compete sometimes the majority can also be the minorty when the decision was made in ignorance to the benefit of the birds ,we learn every day, hope am wrong !!

Good Luck Lads with your racing ,dont think it really matters which route you take personally as there is no easy route back into ayrshire ,you have some hellish terrain to cross,I think it must rate as one of the most difficult places to race pigeons into and always admire the performances at national level given the disadvantage they face before the strings are cut .

yes good fanciers rikki, lets hope section f is still strong for 2012. :) :) :)

yes as you said I hope that section f keeps getting stronger, it has built up over the last few years and there is no reason why the ayrshire boys cant fly in the nationals in fact flying down the west could be an advantage only participation and time will tell.

IT STILL HAS TO BE CONFIRMED BUT IT LOOKS LIKE WE SHOULD BE OPERATING THE KILBARCHAN MARKING STATION AGAIN THIS YEAR, THIS SHOULD HELP KEEP THE NUMBERS UP.

Bullshit. where at the Agm was this discussed?

Ayrshire going west and possibly tying in with Lanarkshire for the last three races.

I came across this when browsing, might interest some of you

The RSPB and other organisations have been providing nesting ledges and boxes to help peregrines re-colonise their former ranges in the south and east of England. Continuing vigilance is needed to keep in check the illegal killing of peregrines by gamekeepers and pigeon fanciers, and the robbing of nests for eggs and chicks by egg collectors and falconers. The peregrine is included on the Amber List of UK birds of conservation concern.

Work it out.

Yes frank they did but surely if another fed wants to hitch a lift would it not be beneficial for Lanarkshire to let them travel with Lanarkshire

Also I think the going alone part meant not with the national

spot on, common sense should prevail

Common sense should prevail ?? what happened to the common sense when we ditched the SNFC to go it alone as Ayrshire were not going west at that time

now hearing Lanarkshire might be getting transported by Ayrshire

oh it would be common sense approach to joint convoy. Can someone explain the difference between the SNFC taking our birds and Ayrshire taking them ?
