victorious Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 use duracell shoild be about 1.50/2 quid replace every year and take out at the end of the season as i have seen them left in and corroding the battery compartment.

victorious Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 clean out battery compartment with a small piece of emery paper or a nail file thingy and some wd40 or vasiline that should do the trick but be gentle the terminal wires can be very fragile.

dal2 Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 whits the battery number? Its a C cell and always use an Alkaline cos that will cut the risk of leakage. Always remove at end of season and change
