JohnQuinn Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 It would be interesting to hear what terms the members think the new Secretary should be offered when appointed. Should it be Part time, Full time, an Hourly Rate or Fixed Sum. If a fixed sum how much??? If an hourly rate how much???

If an hourly rate how much???Fixed sum and should be continued to be put forward for election each year as has been done in years gone by. Been told that other than inflation increases the outgoing secretary has only had 2 pay increases for the last 39 years. This has to be addressed and a decent increase from what it is at present this in turn would hopefully get us a new secretary that is computer literate and one that can modernise the fed, e.g. website and email results.JMO

All for a pay rise for the right new secretary but not a 120% which it would be based on the £8500 quoted above. A 60% pay rise would take it to £6000.00 which should be ample. jmo
