Looking through some pics one of the members put on the other day and the way racings going in the area I live I was thinking I might have a change.

Can anyone tell me anything about the fancy breed in the pic. or any that look like it.Can you let them out like racers, what are they like to breed ,what feed do the eat,are there any problems to look out for.

You'll have to start looking out for breeders of voorburg croppers, and ask them all the questions you want to know the answer to :)

i dont know Lindsay , but am sure ive seen this breed at Blackpool (Babybird took some photos) there were also many birds for sale , if not this particular breed then i am sure some of the show folk could piont you in the right direction , will you be going to Blackpool ?

Seen them at Blackpool,very nice too also liked the jockobeans if that's the correct spelling,sorry not going to Blackpool this year Andy unless something changes.

i think its JACOBEAN,s , think the other was a Scot who worked in the baked bean canning plant . :emoticon-0136-giggle::scotland: .

i know some one who breeds voorburg

will see if he as any for sale and maybe get you his contact number (if he has any for sale)

horsemans are a good breed to fly out not sure about the voorburgs

i know a bit about them mate.they are very friendly birds.easy to keep,its getting to breed a good one thats the problem.they need to be white all over the body and its only the wings that have colour.they come in all colours too.
