Guest bigda Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 with the lanarkshire going west, will it be acceptableshould there be 2 or-3 disasters to call a halt for young bird racing down the west, this is a very scary year for pigeonracing, in the lanarkshire both club and fed, as yearlings are going to be very scarce, and old birds are not up to the normalamounts, and i am hoping that this move ain't just to appease 30 members of the national, at the expense of the lanarkshire fed, as when the time come to race 300 mile it is only Nat doos that are left due to horrendous race loses. and there selective race program being applied to cover, the cracks on there intentions all along as west route flying.for national gain. 30 nat members pishing about with 6 doos each gives you 180 birds going to races over 300 mile as prep races as cheap birdage from the lanarkshires generosity this will be monitored
Guest bigda Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 You out fishing Dannyno Robert, you are worried that i am getting to near the boneand the lanarkshire sprint members are subsidizing distance racingon the cheap, any nat men going with the nat has no quams paying £5 per bird, but dont like paying any more with the lanarkshire than £2 strange dont you think. and even less if they can get away with it
budgie Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Dannys not far wrong as the Antieastvirus mob will find to their Peril.
REDROCKET Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 just back my hols and logged on down the west good news some fare racing this season top class.

As soon as someone tries to show initiative and leadership they are regarded as a know all and slandered at every turn. The only way it will change is the members voting for something else. Whether change is voted for at an AGM, or if enough want it an EGM as happened in 2008. That's democracy in action.

Roland Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 I think the glibbed tongues will tickle the ears of the masses (especially the ego followers) and they will get them to vote for what they deem is best for themselves(and stuff the rest).... whether for the betterment the fanciers as a whole, logical reality and sensible or whatever, will be irrelevant for they will have their' way even if it means darn the cost in both money and / or members. If for the best actually comes about, that is and will be purely because it suited them!
bigjamie Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 if its west then we will have to get on with it see how the birds fare from the west before we all start moaning about it we have had our fair moans about some of our east races as well if its a disaster them the folk that voted for the west will know all about it the lanarkshire is a big federation at times you would not think so with the moans and groans that go on people must think we are a laughthing stock give the west racing a chance to see how it goes
Guest WINGS 04 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Now if there is a vote to get a special meeting to go back east then it is time to scrap the race agm
frank-123 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Now if there is a vote to get a special meeting to go back east then it is time to scrap the race agm we had the meeting and i for one won't be voting for another meeting because guy's could not be bothered to turn upoh and i voted east
geordie1234 Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 The reason i was not at the AGM is one i was working and 2 i would not have the slightest clue what was the best to pick as im only in the sport so i could not make an informed vote
nagid Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Now if there is a vote to get a special meeting to go back east then it is time to scrap the race agmnever a truer word said
