I posted up on this elsewhere: in addition to the Penzance and Scilly Isles birds, there was 1 reported on Jersey, and another (hawked) at Otterburn. These are the only 4 birds that I know of, other than your own.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Got first one from 5 sent to Messac this morning, 8 new tail feathers half up with secondaries missing, gave him a bollocking for felling sorry for itself and not coming home quicker even with 4 tail feathers.

midnight_son Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 I got one about 10 days after the race, totally flown out, poor wee hen. Just the 1 home out of 3. My dad up to 3/5 now, his 3rd one home last week.
paddymac Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 I've had one reported to me by a none fancier here in the N/west of Ireland. He is feeding it in his garden with the local feral pigeons but he did manage to get its ring no. I have notified the owner G. Orr as to the birds whereabouts.
kirky Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 was on another site that a lot of scotch birds were in wales and thay thought thay were the messac birds.
daviedoo22 Posted July 28, 2011 Author Report Posted July 28, 2011 It just makes you wander even more what happened that day.I have only heard of 5 birds that have made it in the north. Some fanciers have said they think the birds have headed in a westerly direction over ireland.
