Do you think the ybs need trained as much now after theyve had a race?IMO, they dont need any training at all.A complete waste of time and money unless you are desperate for a red card. Try half a dozen not trained against your others and you will learn something, as long as they are working round loft. The birds are just running the gauntlet for no reason.I wont be training unless I have ammo ( a few strays )with me.

Quite agree i never train mine after first race why feed bops , and how can you see if they've recovered from racing , no good sending tired birds away training fer bops to eat , however you can watch them at home and if fit they'll fly freely :)

George train and race them nothing beats Education and dont worry about losses

I didnt say miss a race, they go every week, but very little education is gained from training now, at this stage.

Agree with your post 100% Derek ,why loose good birds to the hawk once the racing is underway if they are fit healthy and motivated as the distance increases will wipe the floor with the one's that are being hammered all the time ,but beauty about this game everyone to there own .
