well pps there are 4 pigeons out here this morning 135 miles east of dundee on the shearwater oil/gas platform, 2 of which are su birds yearlings(green rings) 1 gb rung yellow ring and the other i think is nehu a yearling as well ( blue ring)

have 2 back this morning,one from Carentan and the other from Fougeres

Derbyshire NR Lib at Elgin 6.30 and birds took a while to clear just climbing higher & Higher then all 224 went together in a light Northerly wind up to 7.30pm last night less than 50 home according to convoyer and two fanciers at site they could see for 20miles I know the wind became strong ENE below Aberdeen and forcast N and NE at the borders only thing I can think is they were pushed west and have gone wrong side of penine hills first birds timed at 1305pm 331mls about 6 birds 1305 t01330 big gaps I only have 2 from 8 and 1hr behind the wind is still fresh NW and overcast no more back yet

had another two back and yet again it is one from Carentan and one from Fougeres so that is 4 back this morning so far so looking a bit better

I have 1 from Marlborough this morning, making it 2/4 and also making up 1 already mated pair :) so 'National Channel Campaign' is back on. :P

 

Other 2 birds still to come are also a mated pair, fingers, arms, legs & toes crossed for them to come home too, for same reason. :)

had another one back from Carentan so slowly getting better

Another dropped from Marlborough at 1000, tussle with a hawk I think, he's feather damage top of his tail, now 3/4.

Got a 2yr old Ck this morning from Peterborough making it 11/14 returned. Only consolation with this race was it was a yearling i timed in and it was our yearling derby race, no that its at the top of the result, quite the opposite in fact!!

Think even if I won the national yest I would have still woke up pig sick with the birds missing from our loft... Take a while to recover from the race yest. Still have hope of birds showing up but losing hope everytime I look out to see nothing sitting
