THE FIFER Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 should hopefully get a wee break shortly whem they start sitting, dont let your birds out at the same time each day, also hawks kill to eat, so looking for food in the mornings and evening, mostly,
Guest dennisrenton Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 i have tried different times of day i have had attacks morning noon and late afternoon, it was late today when it struck twice in 10 mins, the first attack i was late at getting at itso had to put poor bird down it had the back of its neck ripped open, second bird broke loose and went into loft, took a while for others to come down, they did fly well.
REDROCKET Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 dont let them waste your hobby mate remember this when it makes a kill and you remove this dead bird the hawk will hunt high and low to find this dead bird use it to your advantage without loosing another one with any luck.
