yeboah Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Would definitely agree with as early lib as possible to give all fair chance but we must give the race control team the time required to ensure best conditions for the birds and they like the rest of us do require sleep

Look at the results tae see the times clocked compared tae the west???? 40mph as ave then clockin at at 9pm!!!! i know what your saying,i see the west boys struggle to get aswell im just saying theres sometimes a small window to get north birdsand birds usually slow the further they gobut there are always exceptions to the rule usually wind assisted as i said earlier in the thread inland national birds have been liberated mid morningi think it was 10.30 or 11.00 not 100% sure making that a 2 day race for most of us
JohnQuinn Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 If everyone accepts the result of the voting on a race program with GOOD GRACE, then we can all concentrate on preparing our doos for the tasks ahead, that is after all why we Vote in the first place. Like EVERY body else i have my opinions but Unlike some i will accept the result, get my head down and get on with it, just like i have done for YEARS now.

Guest bigda Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 to help every one the races need to be looked at seriouslyas far as land goes, Oslo could be the real race point for the longer races, and the west for the shorter races in the nationalthat way no one can control the national and there are no advantages to any member now the only one i see that could spit the dummy out would be the south easters, bigda as is, not often wrong, but i can see this offer making a few turn green. they will not stick there necks out, but i can assure you they are no wanting to give any advantage up. they say the have none but will not like to be forced into it. and on the grounds of a race being run and not all participating in the open section tells you all the races they have had are unfair and on that note alone they must be an inquiry never mind what used to be its now that is the main issue, and every fancier should have a chance of getting open pools, as well as section ones

walterbmasson Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Posted January 24, 2011 DANNY YOUR SPOT ON EAST AND WEST RACING WOULD GIVE EVERY BOADY FAIR CHANCE O WINNING THE NATIONAL CROWNS BIT DANNY WHEN I POSTED OSLO { THE YELLOW FLAGS WERE FLYING HALF MAST JUST WITH THE THOUGHT OF GIVING UP ADVANTAGE

Please note I'm not complaining, there has to be a boundary line somewhere it just so happens to be under a mile West from my house

Please note I'm not complaining, there has to be a boundary line somewhere it just so happens to be under a mile West from my house yes mate but should you vote for new racing west and east, you will have no handicap at all, check out every ones measurement and it is within striking distance. and the only ones to complain are the ones that have advantage over others, and it has got that bad that they do not need distance birds to compete, middle distance birds are now all that is needed in some areas, that is the sad fact of the matter, that the ones out side need a different type of bird just to get them home.evolvement yes but the biggest part of the evolvement over the years has come about in the middle distance sprint racing

An outstanding performance
