Server seems to be playing up on a regular basis now,whats the problem with it.???????????????

theres always been server problems on this site.

thats why i believe we switched the last time because of problems with the site going slow.

ive never suffered with the problems in the past untill now?

yet there are many excuses given but no one knows what the problem is.

 

ive been through my pc till im blue in the face and cannot find any problem, EVERY other site pigeon or non pigeon related are working fine!

are we gonna be led to believe that the site needs another new server?

 

hope it gets sorted soon.

I just got a newsletter from one of the sites you mentioned and it was apologising for site being down and also having problems with IE, it is being looked into why we had this problem, and hopefully it is fixed,

i understand fully that things are being done to correct any problems and i fully understand that it takes time to put things right and cant be done over night.

 

i would just say that the slowness of this site for me is upto 10 times slower than the others.

hi mark m8..pc not running slow though m8..its just when im on basics...all the other sites are well fast...ive already done a big clean up on my pc and done loads of updates where neccesary .

why would all of a sudden basics be the only one to be this way?

its just due to the webhosting that PB are using i have had problems connecting latly on IE but now its fine no won can say its my net connection or comp as both are the best about 50mb virgin and well my comp super fast

its what i thought ,basics does have from time to time server trouble.

..or it did have in the past.

cant understand how ie would not handle the basics site....its ok on every other site...i spose it will all come out in the wash as they say

Agree with you. When the site is down, it's down, no matter what browser you use. It is disappointing, Richard & Vallance spent a lot of time looking at new Hosts before deciding which one to go for. Hope this recent spell is just a blip.

 

Have one or two problems myself though changed my ISP to BT and connection drops out every so often. Happened just now, changed to Google Chrome, and got back in. So members personal set-up can also have a negative affect.

mine been the same m8 im still on IE have had no probs anywhere else but now seems to have been sorted as back to full speed still on IE dont want to change,
