Guest bakes Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Or if you were going to start a fresh if i was going to start a fresh would look at the best flyer around in the distances you dissire to be raceing at look at results people that are winning with there birds out of turn not 10 years ago today and thenwhen you found the flyer i would buy a round of youngster of there best proven birds test them and what makes grade breed from and try to build a family of your own from these birds keeping it simple breed from your winners or birds that have scored well for yourself and what doesnt dissard as cost same to feed rubbish then it does good that what i would do all best.
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Think one of the main reasons for paying funny money to big names or buying any fashionable strains is if you are looking to sell pigeons. You could probably get pigeons to do as well that you got for a very small percentage of the price,or indeed free providing of course they're good healthy pigeons and from a genuine fancier

No what gets me all these so called top fanciers have loft managers and all that so what do they actually do never mind all that mate the one man band with a small loft can compete with the biggest that what great about pigeons just means you keep less birds but you will know yours a lot better just select hard and enjoy
