sapper756 Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan has parted company with the club following a poor start to the season. Boro were installed as favourites to win promotion before the Championship campaign began after Strachanhttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif made some eye-catching signings in the transfer window. However, they have struggled to find any real consistency with just three wins from their opening 11 games. A 2-1 defeat at home to Leeds on Saturday extended Boro's winless run to four matches and left them 20th in the standings, just two points above the relegation zone. http://img.skysports.com/10/08/218x298/Strachan_2485027.jpg Strachan: Middlesbrough exit
frank-123 Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 bought to many players similar to mowbray's time at celtic
alex wight Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 i watched the game and it was very very poor. On paper they should be doing a lot better, however there are too many ego's in the team. Yet again when its getting tough strachan runs. I,m sure with a new manager and the same players they will do realy well.imo
Henrik Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 He,ll be a manager when I,m a Priest. Dismantled a good Celtic team then took the same crap with him to Boro.

Roland Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 He,ll be a manager when I,m a Priest. Dismantled a good Celtic team then took the same crap with him to Boro. Didn't want to say it myself... But willnever be half as good a manager as he was a player, and that's for sure. There's a whole shebang of managers out there. Mustbe 10 or more ex Premiership managers amongst them. They'll be only too glad to take a wage cut and get back into the game and try and make a name for themselves again.
