VMS Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 although we got beat tonight i thought the boys done us proud against indisputably the best team in the world, but just watched Leviens interview he is a disgrace and totally out of his depth SACK him now and we can build from that performance.
Roland Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 he plays no striker against a lesser team..... he plays a striker against the world champions..... WHY? levien must go , his results have been very poor apart from tonights, 4 games 4 points.. not good enough, c'mon he was P*** at dundee united, JUST WHO do you think would want the job? The quality of manager you would like wouldn't come! Then the playing squad aren't no where near good enough to entice a quality Manager.... gosh must be one of the most - if not the most - turned down job worldwide. So yes it would be interesting to see the names one would want, and marks aside of them regards the chances of getting him. And in reality 3 2 was a flipping good result against the best in the world.
billt Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 Well at least it was worth watching unlike the England game
Roland Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 And the point is? Oh yes sorry the POINT is we haven't been beaten yet and the 'POINT' GOT tonight augers very well now to top the table.
VMS Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 I for one would like to see Craig Brown with Archie Knox back at the helm.

Dont know about the others Sir Walter would be my 1st choice. but think that he will want to retire on a high m8.So on that basis Craig and Archie are the men for the job

sapper756 Posted October 13, 2010 Author Report Posted October 13, 2010 http://img.skysports.com/10/10/800x600/Scotland-v-Spain-James-Morrison-Joan-Capdevil_2514501.jpg Fernando Llorente's late winner broke Scottish hearts and gave Spain a 3-2 win in their Euro 2012 qualifier at Hampden Park. Scotland had battled back from 2-0 down against the world and European champions to give themselves hope of a famous result, but substitute Llorente struck in the 79th minute to maintain Spain's 100 per cent record in Group I. Allan McGregor was superb with a string of first-half saves before the Scots' resistance was broken by a 44th minute penalty by David Villa, which put the Barcelona star level with Raul as Spain's all-time leading scorer on 44 goals. Andres Iniesta then made it 2-0 in the 55th minute, but Scotland pulled one back just three minutes later as Steven Naismith claimed his first international goal. And although Gerard Pique's own-goal drew the hosts level in the 66th minute, Llorente was left unmarked just three minutes after coming on to turn home his third goal in two qualifiers and condemn Scotland to another glorious failure. Manager Craig Levein declared beforehand that this Spain side was possibly the best Scotland have ever faced and one look at the team-sheet backed that theory, with nine of the players who started the World Cup final in Vicente del Bosque's line-up.

Roland Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Think you have all read the realism. Is a choice of having back those that didnae do any good, or Dream of Big Phil, Mourino etc. This manager, whether he spits his dummy out or not is about the best you will get... till he puts a bit of pride and a higher rating to the country THAT you should all support and get behind, win or lose. Get ever Fan Now marching with banners held high. NOW THAT WOULD be the biggest boost for the manager and the PLAYERS.... Many who worry about being picked and the cost and cat calling! As for spitting out the dummy that seems to be a Scottish thing from the worst to the best.... Just look at Sir Alec and his refusal to speak to the BBC because he doesn't like, and can't write the script! AND that means that the MAN U supporters are paying the fines each week!
