you`ve got to be joking. john hughes got out of falkirk before they got relegated and hibs were goin the same way. their fans couldnt see the back of him quick enough.

collins is too far up his own a--e. and as for wee jimmy why has he not been offered a job since he left killie. if i was levein i would walk away from some of the numpties who interview them as well. he cant help it if his defenders are crap. if mcmanus was any good he wouldnae be playing for middlesborough

Fernando Llorente's late winner broke Scottish hearts and gave Spain a 3-2 win in their Euro 2012 qualifier at Hampden Park.

 

Scotland had battled back from 2-0 down against the world and European champions to give themselves hope of a famous result, but substitute Llorente struck in the 79th minute to maintain Spain's 100 per cent record in Group I.

 

Allan McGregor was superb with a string of first-half saves before the Scots' resistance was broken by a 44th minute penalty by David Villa, which put the Barcelona star level with Raul as Spain's all-time leading scorer on 44 goals.

 

Andres Iniesta then made it 2-0 in the 55th minute, but Scotland pulled one back just three minutes later as Steven Naismith claimed his first international goal.

 

And although Gerard Pique's own-goal drew the hosts level in the 66th minute, Llorente was left unmarked just three minutes after coming on to turn home his third goal in two qualifiers and condemn Scotland to another glorious failure.

 

Manager Craig Levein declared beforehand that this Spain side was possibly the best Scotland have ever faced and one look at the team-sheet backed that theory, with nine of the players who started the World Cup final in Vicente del Bosque's line-up.

Think you have all read the realism. Is a choice of having back those that didnae do any good, or Dream of Big Phil, Mourino etc.

This manager, whether he spits his dummy out or not is about the best you will get... till he puts a bit of pride and a higher rating to the country THAT you should all support and get behind, win or lose.

Get ever Fan Now marching with banners held high. NOW THAT WOULD be the biggest boost for the manager and the PLAYERS.... Many who worry about being picked and the cost and cat calling!

As for spitting out the dummy that seems to be a Scottish thing from the worst to the best.... Just look at Sir Alec and his refusal to speak to the BBC because he doesn't like, and can't write the script! AND that means that the MAN U supporters are paying the fines each week!
