Ive just watched a young cock tread a young hen and then the same hen tread the cock. The cock is 100% a cock ive been watching it roar for months. I know 2 hens can pair together but I have never in 21 years of pigeons seen a pair tread each other. Has anyone else seen this before ?

Yes have seen this more than once and its not always yearlings, had an old pair of stock birds that done this regular.

Not at all, I have seen hens tread cock many times. One of my best ever racers came from such a pair.
