FOUND OUT EARLIER TODAY THAT A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE WHO RACED IN THE BURNBANK CLUB BUT THIS YEAR HAS BEEN RACING IN THE BLANTYRE CLUB IN LANARKSHIRE DIED EARLIER TODAY. I HAVE KNOWN DAVIE SINCE I WAS A WEE BOY AND I AM GUTTED TO HEAR OF HIS DEATH HE HAS BEEN FIGHTING CANCER FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS BUT SADLY PASSED AWAY EARLIER TODAY

 

REST IN PEACE MY OLD FRIEND..

i have lost two very close friends in our sport to cancer and i saw what it does to them and how it changes them from the person they were.

 

although its a very trying time ,there is the thought now at least the person is no longer in pain and suffering.
