during a shopping run to wilkinson's i noticed their fold flat storage boxes, £2 each, thought i would try a few as nest boxes, they should be easy to spray clean and at that price they can be binned at the end of summer, or if still in good condition flattened and stored for the winter

they manage ok the boxes are a decent size, its the photo that makes them look smaller.. or they can pop down to the floor if they want to be a bit more active, i put the boxes  in 3 days ago and each one is now taken

Great idea, have you lined them inside ?

hi

I lined the base with corrugated card, toped with sheets of newspaper, and used the corrugated card on two sides to offer privacy and to stop the poop from YB's being sprayed into the next box
