JohnQuinn Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Looks as if most of the convoy are tucked up in their lofts tonight. Thats a big WELL DONE to the race controllers, who had a difficult decision to make. Well done.

JohnQuinn Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 got to agree alf,as with all races during modern times over 350 miles getting good returns mostly unusual. :mellow:Disappointed to here that, the guys who i have spoke with are all over 50% home and a few who are all home, albeit they only sent 2 or 3 doos. Definitely left me with the impression the returns are very good.

Chris Little Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Well we for one will not be bothering with this race again should it appear on future SNFC race programmes, returns not that good in our area. Far too east for my own liking..... and considering it was a one off in 2008 However.... very well done to all that timed

JohnQuinn Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Its nice to know the doos who haven't made it are still fit enough to work their way back. I hope the rest are still working, seems there are more missing than i first thought, with some fanciers not getting a doo, i never like to see that.

I hope the rest are still working, seems there are more missing than i first thought, with some fanciers not getting a doo, i never like to see that. I was talking to some of the guys at our place this morning and i dont think anyone in the club has more than 50% of their doos home yet and 2 clocks were'nt run off and my mate still has'nt seen a feather from 4 sent

Far too east for my own liking..... and considering it was a one off in 2008 However.... very well done to all that timed chris we in the west put up with being too far east in every national race we go to,but we still go to the races that are agreed to if we had that attitude, the national would have no west coast flyers, and as you know we send a large percentage of the birds, and a national without us would be a poor race
