Strong winds should not mean that a race is postponed or we leave ourselves open to such critisim.

Only bad weather should mean a race being put back or we open a can of worms that will always be open to debate.

looks like a 9am lib Sunday. weather wind wise to ease, temperature to rise up to as much as 21 deg, but the very north closing in, at arrival time wet and windy down as far as Aberdeen late 7pm - 10pm other than that a better day for the one eyeyed jacks, bigda as it is

I don't care what way the wind blows but if it is in the east then we must be very careful about the temperature. Can't seen any reason to let go in COLD east winds. I'd sooner they get a good start late than a bad start early.

While I would have prefered an early liberation, I see no reason to liberate at say 9 if the majority of Scotland have the opportunity of getting there birds home on the day, as in the past the birds have been off when we in the west havent had a fair crack at the whip.

WHY KEEP THEM ANOTHER DAY IN BASKETS doesent do the birds any good coming to the 600mile races 1 0 clock rock and keep the birds as fresh for the long distance races after all what do you call it A NATIONAL please give us your views on this so we know how you all feel

If as you suggest m8 they go at 1. still does not guarantee no day birds, as if the wind dies down as it is supposed to there is a fair chance of birds in the south and borders late on tonight, so that would be a no go for me. jmo
