REDCHEQHEN Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Very disappointing wasn't it ? 15 years studying pigeons................ : : :
maverick Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 THE MOVING OF THE LOFT WAS DONE DURING THE WAR, NOTHING NEW IN THAT.
Guest bristolkev Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 surely numbing the birds nostrils wolud make it panic giving it a reason not to home coz it can`t feel the air traveling through it`s nostrils.

frank-123 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 the birds were not coming in until the fancier gave them a call maybe a bond with man and loft
Dave A Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 wasnt there 20 odd birds went into the floating loft iu only saw 6 or 7 at the end, baybe they shopuld be looking at what is happening to all the yb;s that go missing
Guest bristolkev Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 who was the fancier in the film?
Roland Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Well considering what they achieved in the war years the whole program was - As far as I am concerned - very lame. When they use the 'Boomerang of homing. Night missions ... whih suprisinly Xanada was the well advanced and respected leaders... Cages used on the funnels of ships for them to home.... Lofts made and diguise via making the camaflaged by Trees, and WERE moved into forsets etc. and they found the... here 1000 years to 50 years ago and we are still learning. Only thing I see that might be o an interest is that the 'Joe Public was intrigued and may ge interested, then that will be a bonus.
